Today I have been redrawing an image I did almost 6 months ago.  Scaling a line drawing from A5 to A2 was much harder than I thought as the negative space feels much more intrusive on the larger scale.  It was also really difficult to achieve the smooth lines and curves that I did in the original.  It did however allow me to add slightly more detail in some areas and involve slightly more complex shapes.

I did this as in the next few weeks I will hopefully be screen printing these full size onto a t-shirt or two.

The drawing it’s self is from my self initiated project I completed just before the summer.  It is a piece that shows one train of thought that got left behind for a slightly different execution.  It always stuck out to me amongst the vast different drawings and experimentations I did so this way it will live for a while as a t-shirt instead of a crumpled piece of paper in a drawer somewhere.
